Privacy policy

In force as of 17 août 2021.

The purpose of this privacy policy (the "Policy") is to set out our commitment to the privacy of users of the website www.kidays.fr (the "Site"), operated by Kidays.

In making our Site available, we process your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 ("GDPR") and on the terms set out below.

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. We collect and process personal data solely in connection with providing our services or communicating about them, in strict compliance with the GDPR.

We only collect personal data that is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. You will therefore never be asked to provide personal data considered "sensitive", such as your racial or ethnic origin or your political, philosophical or religious opinions.

By registering on the Site, you authorise us to process your personal data in accordance with this Policy. If you do not accept its terms, please refrain from using the Site and the services.

1. When do we collect your personal data, and what do we collect?

We may collect and store your personal data, in particular when you browse the Site, when you use a service that involves collecting data (for example the booking form), and when you contact us.

We use your personal data to deliver and manage the Site's services and to answer your specific requests. We also use it to operate and improve our services, our Site and our approach. This information is used by us alone and helps us tailor our services to what you expect.

If you chose to receive emails and messages from us when creating your account, you will receive electronic messages about our products and promotions. We will use the data you provided when registering. You can unsubscribe from these at any time.

1.1 Browsing the Site. Connection data: each time you connect to our Site we collect personal data such as your IP address, the date and time of connection, and information about the browser you use. Browsing data: we also collect information identifying how you reach the Site, which pages you view and for how long. We may use cookies for this, as set out in section 5 below.

1.2 Newsletter sign-up. You can consent directly to receiving our newsletters by entering your email address in the places provided for that purpose on the Site. In any event, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time and free of charge, on the terms set out in section 6 of this Policy.

1.3 Contact. In order to follow up on any request you make to our customer service and to confirm your details, we may use your surname, first name, email address and telephone number.

2. How do we protect your personal data?

We have put technical and organisational security measures in place to protect the security, integrity and confidentiality of all your personal data, and to prevent it being altered, damaged or accessed by unauthorised third parties. We maintain a level of security appropriate to the state of the art, the cost of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of the processing, as well as the risks involved and their likelihood.

That said, no security measure is infallible, and we are therefore unable to guarantee absolute security for your personal data.

3. When do we share your personal data?

3.1 Sharing with third-party companies. While you browse the Site, your personal data may be passed to external providers. These third parties deliver a service for us and on our behalf, in order to keep card payments and other services running properly.

Personal data may be transferred to countries outside the European Union in order to handle booking requests for children's events. In accordance with the GDPR, all transfers to a country outside the European Union and/or not offering a level of protection deemed adequate by the European Commission are covered by cross-border transfer agreements based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Except where a third party asks you to accept its own privacy policy and terms of use, the third-party companies given your personal data have undertaken to process it solely in order to deliver our services. We will never share your personal data with third-party companies for marketing or commercial purposes without first obtaining your consent.

3.2 Sharing with the authorities. We may disclose your personal data to administrative or judicial authorities where disclosure is necessary to identify, apprehend or prosecute anyone who may harm our rights, those of another user or those of a third party. We may also be legally required to disclose your personal data, in which case we cannot object.

4. How long do we keep your personal data?

We keep your personal data only for as long as you are registered on the Site, so that we can identify you when you sign in to your account and deliver the services. If you close your registration on the Site, your data will be deleted and kept only in archive form for the purpose of establishing proof of a right or of a contract.

In any event, we keep your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, in line with the uses set out in this Policy and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

5. Cookies: how do we use them?

5.1 What is a cookie? A cookie is a text file that may be placed on a device when an online service is accessed through a browser. Among other things, a cookie lets whoever issued it recognise that device, for as long as the cookie remains valid, whenever the device accesses digital content carrying cookies from the same issuer. In any event, cookies placed on your browsing device with your agreement are deleted 13 months after they are set.

5.2 What are the cookies on our Site for? The cookies we issue let us compile statistics on traffic and on how the various parts of our Site are used; adapt the presentation of our Site to your device's display preferences; remember information about a form you have filled in or services you have chosen; and give you access to restricted, personal areas of our Site, such as your account, as well as apply security measures.

On your first visit to the Site, a cookie banner appears. A clickable link explains what cookies are for and how they work, and points to this Policy. You can reopen your preferences at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.

5.3 How can you control the cookies used? You can configure your browser at any time so that cookies are stored on your device or, conversely, rejected (either systematically or depending on who issued them). You can also set your browser to ask you each time, before a cookie is stored, whether to accept or refuse it.

Please note: any such setting may change how you browse the internet and your access to certain services that require cookies. We accept no liability for the consequences of our services working less well because cookies they need could not be stored or read, having been refused or deleted by you.

5.4 How do you configure your browser? Every browser is configured differently; the method is described in its help menu, which will show you how to change your cookie preferences. For more information about cookies, you can visit the website of the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

6. What are your rights?

You alone provided us with the data we hold, through the Site. In accordance with personal data protection regulations, in particular articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, and once you have proved your identity, you have the right to ask us for access to the personal data concerning you, and for its rectification or erasure.

In addition, within the limits set by law, you also have the right to object to the processing, to restrict it, to decide what happens to your data after your death, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to the portability of the personal data you have provided.

You can contact us to exercise your rights at the following email address: [email protected], or by post at: 20 bis rue Hippolyte Maindron, 75014 Paris, enclosing a copy of proof of identity with your request.

You can also unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email, or by writing to [email protected].

7. Can we change this Policy?

We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time, so we recommend checking it regularly. Where we make changes, we will publish them on this page and anywhere else we consider appropriate given the subject matter and significance of the change.

Your use of the Site after any change means you accept it. If you do not accept a substantial change made to this Policy, you must stop using the Site.
